Dining at a luxury hotel can be intimidating, and the setting is exactly as one would imagine the most prestigious of venues. But I assure you that this is a very welcoming restaurant, and it would be a shame to miss out on it.

Here, the tablecloths are immaculate, the tableware is impeccable, and the service is attentive.

The menu offers a variety of dishes, ranging from traditional fare to more contemporary options.

I particularly enjoyed the foie gras terrine, the smoked salmon, the veal blanquette, and the lobster roll. As for the kids, they’ll love the classic croque-monsieur, croque-madame, and cordon bleu.

I recommend La Coupole in particular for its lunch special: $18 for a starter + main course or main course + dessert, and $22 for the full menu. The selection is updated regularly.

making it an attractive option given the quality and the setting. An excellent choice for a chic lunch, a business meeting, or a special occasion in Phnom Penh.
